So, a fund raising we will go!!
I personally have had a FANTASTIC response from facebook. We have also been selling home made tshirts, Sharon bracelets, and baked goods. On top of that, we have had a great Scentsy fund raiser and a WONDERFUL sale at Walmart.
Tshirts - here's the deal. I do not want to order 100 shirts and not have them sell. So, what we chose to do is to make them ourselves by order. Im able to work with the graphics on a photo editing program, print the transfer sheet and put the shirt together! They're super easy and weve had a great response!
Walmart sale - we worked and planned and worked some more on making items, decorating items, researching things to sell and ordering things to sell.
We scheduled with Walmart to sell our items and can on Mother's Day. Our tables with sale items were set up at each entrance door and we had our kids do the actual canning. What a great response we got from our local community!
Angel of Grace is a great fund raiser! I found them by reading other 3 Day blogs and researching fundraising ideas. Sharon bracelets come in various colors and sizes. Theyre made in honor of one of the girls sister, who lost her fight to breast cancer. The bracelets are sent in blocks of 25. You set your own prices and resell them at will. More info on them can be found here.
Our Scentsy fundraiser went very well also! A good friend of mine, Danielle, is a Scentsy consultant and offered us a three week fundraiser. She offered us 100% of the profits from the sale! Orders are being totaled now but it lookes like our total order is going to be over $1500! Thanks Danielle, for a fantastic fund raiser! If youre looking for a consultant - look no further than here!
Oh, I almost forgot about the flamingos! I read on the 3 Day website about "Flocking" people. Its something I had never heard of but what a cute and fun idea! In a nutshell, for a donation, a flock of classic pink flamingos magically migrate to the front yard of the donation givers choice. Here's our flyer -

This weekend we'll be driving to Lubbock to pick up 75 boxes of Krispy Kreme doughnuts. They have a great fund raising program. If you qualify for fund raising pricing, its $2.5 a box that you turn and sell for $5. Hopefully theyll do well. We'll see!
If you want more information on any of these ideas or have suggestions of your own - please feel free to let me know!
